This website is run by E-Cig POD dba POD Vape, 840 W 78th St, Chanhassen, MN 55317. Contact us at the email address or phone number below about anything on this page.
Reservations
When you reserve for pickup we collect the name on your ID, your mobile number, the items and pickup time you choose, any alternate collector you name, and, if you give one, an email address for pickup updates. You also enter your date of birth; the website’s server checks that you are 21 or older on the current date in Chanhassen and then discards it — it is not stored, logged, or sent to the store’s operating system. We also record that you confirmed you are 21 or older and that you agreed to the Terms of use and acknowledged this notice — which versions, when, and the internet address and browser the reservation came from — as a record of that agreement. The reservation is sent to the store's operating system so staff can prepare and release it. This site does not collect payment details, ID numbers or images of your ID.
At the counter
Staff check a valid government photo ID in person before releasing any order. The store records the outcome of that check — whether the ID scanner passed and whether the name matched — and who collected the order. It does not store your date of birth, ID number or an image of your ID.
POD Passport
If you create a POD Passport account we keep your name, email address, mobile number if you give it, your age status, your points, rewards and membership, the pickups linked to your account, and what you have agreed to receive. Your choices about marketing messages are recorded with the wording and time you agreed.
Reviews
If you write a product review as a POD Passport member, the store receives your review, rating and the name shown with it. Reviews are published only after staff approve them. Your Passport number links the review to your account and is not published.
Contact form
When you send a message from the contact page, the store receives your name, email address, the topic you chose and your message. It is kept in the store's operating system so staff can answer it, and a copy is emailed to the store's inbox. We use your email address only to reply to you. Messages are kept for up to two years.
If you give an email address with a reservation, the store uses it to tell you about that pickup. Marketing email is sent only to POD Passport members who have confirmed that they want it, and every message includes an unsubscribe link.
Service providers
We use service providers to run the website and the store's systems: Cloudflare (website hosting), Supabase (databases and sign-in), Vercel (the store's operating system) and Klaviyo (email). They handle information on our behalf to provide those services. We do not sell your personal information.
Information on your device
The age screen checks your full date of birth on your device. Your birthday is not saved or sent to the store. When you reserve or join POD Passport you enter it again; that check happens on this website’s server, and the date is discarded straight away. Your browser stores your age acknowledgement, theme preference, your bag and, when applicable, a reservation code and access token. Clearing site storage removes those details from this browser; it does not delete a reservation already sent to the store.
How long records are kept
Reservation and age-check records are kept for four years as records of age-restricted sales. A POD Passport account is kept until you ask to close it; points, consent and audit history that must be retained are then kept with your name and contact details removed.
Your choices
Contact the store to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to close a POD Passport account. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time from the link in any message. Do not send ID images or payment details by email.
